A Proud Local 33 Member for Nearly Two Decades

Molly worked in the Local 33 office as a Partnership Development Representative, but recently returned to the TAB company where she had spent 16 years working in the field.  She now works in the sales office.

She also has taught part-time at the JATC and remains an active Local 33 member while continuing to break barriers for women in the male-dominated field.

Since the sheet metal industry is still male-dominated, you might think it’s not for you. But Molly is a testament to the fact that anyone who wants to make a career for themselves in sheet metal work, can. Contact us or apply online today to start investing in your future.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wyoming, Molly spent roughly 12 years working in the field. When she finally burned out after all the long nights and cutting through red tape, she knew it was time to make a career change—but what was the next best step for her?

She started out by joining a pre-apprenticeship program to learn about the different trades and determine which one might be the right fit for her. At first, she had no idea what sheet metal even was, but slowly began to discover all it had to offer.

Now Molly is a Partnership Development Representative and has nearly 20 years of service under her belt. She admires sheet metal work for its artistry, how it allows you to hone your creative skills and make something out of nothing.
